Our Mandate

Macmillan Technical College’s strategic objective is to Train an Effective Workforce for the Global Market. As well, we aspires to position ourselves as an institution of first choice in the training of world class Highly-Skilled-Technical-Graduates. We also strive to equip our graduates with sufficient and relevant Entrepreneurial Skills so as to prepare them to play their role towards Wealth and Employment Creation in the Global Arena. .

The government through the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has strengthened the focus of Science, Technology and Innovation and Technical Education policies as underlying the country’s national development efforts. In line with the government and the ministry’s development agenda, Macmillan Technical College aligns itself with this road map to guide its development agenda for the next ten years as it responds to the Global Needs of the Technical Human Resource.

REGISTRATION AND GOVERNING BODY

Macmillan Technical College is a private institution with registration number PVT-3QU7JZYR registered in Kenya by the registrar of companies under the office of the Attorney General in 2022; with the training mandate Regulated and Accredited by Technical Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA) with registration Number TVETA/PRIVATE/TVC/0042/2023 on 22nd May 2022.

The college has its registered Head Offices at Valley View, Parklands-High Ridge Ward, Westalands Sub-County, Nairobi County-Kenya. The College has other branches in Mombasa, Eldoret, and Nakuru non of which is independent and are all managed under the Head Quarters, Nairobi.

LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT

The Board of Governors is the supreme body responsible for the overall management, developing strategic plan, providing leadership, and ensuring policy guidelines and followed by the institution.

The Executive Management Committee

The College’s management committee includes:

  1. The Managing Director
  2. The Principal
  3. The Deputy Principal
  4. The Registrar
  5. The Dean of Students
  6. The Finance Officer
  7. Any other person co-opted by the committee

The Academic Committee

The academic committee is responsible for all academic matters in the College. Members of the academic committee shall be:

  • The Principal
  • The Centre Managers
  • Administrator
  • Examination Office
  • The Registrar
  • All Academic HODs
