Our Mandate
Macmillan Medical Training College’s strategic objective is to Train an Effective Workforce for the Global Market. As well, we aspires to position ourselves as an institution of first choice in the training of world class Highly-Skilled-Technical-Graduates. We also strive to equip our graduates with sufficient and relevant Entrepreneurial Skills so as to prepare them to play their role towards Wealth and Employment Creation in the Global Arena. The government through the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has strengthened the focus of Science, Technology and Innovation and Technical Education policies as underlying the country’s national development efforts. In line with the government and the ministry’s development agenda, Macmillan Medical Training College aligns itself with this road map to guide its development agenda for the next ten years as it responds to the Global Needs of the Technical Human Resource.
Leadership and Management
At Macmillan Medical Training College, strong leadership and effective management are essential to achieving academic excellence and institutional growth. The college is guided by two key governing bodies: the Executive Management Committee and the Academic Committee.
The Executive Management Committee is responsible for the strategic planning and operational management of the college, ensuring that Macmillan remains a leading TVET institution in Kenya. Meanwhile, the Academic Committee focuses on maintaining high standards in curriculum development, academic policies, and student success.
Together, these committees drive Macmillan Medical Training College’s mission to deliver quality TVET education, foster innovation, and prepare students for successful careers in healthcare, technology, and social sciences.

Basic Life Support (BLS) in CNA Training
At Macmillan Medical Training College, students pursuing careers in healthcare—particularly those enrolled in the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program—benefit from comprehensive Basic Life Support (BLS) training. This essential, hands-on course equips students with critical life-saving skills, including CPR, airway obstruction management, and effective emergency response techniques.
BLS training is designed to prepare future healthcare professionals to respond confidently and competently in high-pressure situations. By integrating practical instruction with real-world scenarios, we ensure our graduates are well-prepared for clinical environments and ready to deliver safe, responsive care in any medical setting.
