CYBER SECURITY

Cyber Security program equips students and clients with essential skills for identifying and mitigating digital threats in the rapidly evolving digital landscape. The program covers cyber threats, intelligence gathering, information security procedures, risk management, and structured security practices.

The course is available both at both Certificate and Diploma level.

1. CERTIFICATE LEVEL

A minimum qualification of K.C.S.E, D+ and above, or Pass in Level 4 of a related courses
The Certificate Course takes a Period of 1 ½ (One and a half years)

2. DIPLOMA LEVEL

A minimum qualification of K.C.S.E, C- and above or a Pass in Level 5 of a related course or any other qualifications as determined by KNQA
The Diploma level takes a period of 3 years.

The course is examined and certified by TVETA-CDACC.

COMPUTER AND SOFTWARE ENGINEERING

This is a branch of computer science that deals with the process of designing, developing, testing and maintaining software applications. Software is a complex and constantly evolving field which requires a structured approach to ensure that the end product is of high quality, reliable and also meets the needs of users. This field applies a disciplined and organized approach to software development with the goal of improving quality, time and budget efficiency along with the assurance of structured testing and engineer certification.

To do a level 6 UK diploma in computer and software engineering course, you should have one of the following qualifications:

At least a C+ and above in KCSE
Have passed level 5 of related courses or any other qualifications as determined by KNQA.
The diploma level takes a period of 3 years, with three semesters per year.
Our Examination body is ABMA-UK.

Certificate in ICT

The certificate course is intended to equip learners with the knowledge, skills and attitude responsive to the challenging needs in the computing industry. In addition, it is designed to equip the learners with practical skills that can be applied in the business world at an entry-level. The course is designed as a sequence that allows students to progress from the Certificate to the Diploma level.

A mean grade of D (Plain) in the KCSE or its equivalent or Completion of Artisan Certificate (Level 4) in a related area.
This course takes a minimum of one and half years
Examination and certification by TVETA-CDACC

Computer packages/Digital Literacy

This marks the very basic level to ICT courses. Computer packages are short courses that students learn about computer functions and programs. These courses equip students with basic computer skills. There are many study options available for students in line with their area of interest. Upon completion, the learners get a certificate of Digital Literacy. Students can advance to certificate, diploma or degree courses to strengthen their knowledge in specific areas. The courses are available and open to everybody.

INTERNATIONAL COMPUTER DRIVING LICENSE- ICDL
