Diploma and certificate in social work and community Development serves to prepare students for a career and equips students with social work skills to engage with individuals, families, groups and communities in an effort to enhance social functioning and overall well-being of the people.

Requirements

  • Entry requirement for a Certificate in Social Work and Community Development is a KCSE D plain and above or its equivalent.

  • The duration is 12 months

  •  
  • Entry requirement for a Diploma in Social Work and Community Development is a KCSE C plain OR

  • A pass in level 5 of related courses or any other qualifications as determined by KNQA

  • The Diploma Course takes a period of 2years.

The course is examined and certified by TVETA-CDACC.
